Come watch Mark demonstrate his blacksmithing skills and talk about what it takes to learn blacksmithing from one of the biggest names of our generation. This special demo will be a benefit to the Arizona Artists Blacksmith Association. Profits from this event will be donated to the AABA scholarship fund to honor Mark’s work developing the curriculum used to teach blacksmithing at all levels across the country.

Learn how to forge weld a Damascus Steel guard on to a knife with a full tang handle, with leading expert Salem Straub! Salem will be bringing the Damascus for this class from his own home forge in Washington State!
This class is perfect for people who have made knives before, and want to learn Salem’s techniques for forge welding and forging knives with integral and forge welded guards. Class is Tuesday October 10th, through Friday October 13th, from 6 pm to 10 pm.
